PARKING
The Conference Center is pleased to offer complimentary parking to our conference center guests, 

These parking validations are valid only in general parking of the airport parking garage (floors 1-3 & 5-8) on the day of their event, and will not be honored if client parks on floor 4 of the garage (Terminal Direct parking).

Meet your Presenter: Mark Parlee

Course Title: Inspecting the Exterior Envelope HIP2400179

Mark Parlee is a Building Consultant with 48 years in the construction trades, having worked as a framing and siding carpenter, homebuilder, remodeler, and exterior

renovator. Mark currently uses the expertise gathered over his life’s work as a consultant on construction defects and moisture intrusion, an expert witness, and a seminar presenter. He is EDI (Exterior Design Institute) Certified as an EIFS, Stucco and Stone Inspector/Moisture Analyst/Quality Control and is also certified by EDI as a Building Envelope II, Steep Slope Roof Inspector and was one of the instructors of the first EDI Stone Veneer Inspection Certification Seminar. As a member of the Board of Directors for EDI, Mark is involved in updating curriculum and writing new curriculum to keep courses in step with the most current technologies.


He is a certified Level I Infrared Thermographer and Certified Residential Thermographer. Mark has been a guest lecturer for Architecture Forensics at Iowa State University. Mark has also attained certification as a Building Envelope Investigator through BESI (Building Envelope Science Institute).

James garners over 24 years as an electronic specialist, including experience, education, and training. He garners over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. James boasts over 3,000 hours of extended or related continued education and writes industry-wide curricula regarding home inspection processes. James (Jim) is an Authorized InterNACHI Education Instructor and an industry-wide Speaker/Educator/Owner of IM – Inspector Mentoring and Training.

In-person attendees will be required to sign in and out of each presentation. Failure to do so will result in no credit earned. NO EXPECTIONS.

Details to ensure you earn full credit for your online participation of our course.

NWHBIA.org uses Zoom.us for its video conferencing broadcast. To ensure you are up to date with Zoom.us, we encourage you to log in and join the waiting room at least 10 minutes prior to going live broadcast and not delay dealing with software updates you may encounter. Once the presentation begins, late entry will be barred at the 10-minute mark.

All online events are recorded in compliance with DOL.
DOL requires each student to have a camera that displays their likeliness during the education presentation. Please come prepared to dedicate yourself to a day of education. Attempting to multi-task will negate your attendance, and no credits will be approved.

The admin will request that you sign via chat. Please respond with the first and last name you used to register for the event. Failure to do so will result in no credits earned. Upon entry, please ask for help if you do not understand the mandate.

No exceptions to these rules.

This event is being recorded solely for compliance with DOL requirements.
